QR Code Generator

Design professional, scan-safe QR codes in your browser.

Create branded QR codes for links, Wi-Fi, contacts, messages, events, and locations. Add logos, gradients, frames, reusable presets, and export PNG, SVG, or print-ready PDF.

How to use QR Code Generator

  1. Choose a payload type and enter its details.
  2. Customize modules, corners, colors, logo, and call-to-action frame while reviewing scan warnings.
  3. Download a PNG, SVG, or print-ready PDF.

What this tool does

Professional payloads

Create links, contacts, Wi-Fi joins, SMS and WhatsApp messages, calendar events, and map locations.

Brand-ready design

Add a logo, gradient, styled modules and corners, transparent backgrounds, and custom CTA frames.

Scan-safety checks

Get actionable feedback for contrast, density, logo coverage, and quiet zones before export.

Local design presets

Save reusable visual presets in your browser without storing QR payload content.

Common uses

  • Create a branded QR code for a URL, Wi-Fi network, contact, message, calendar event, or location.
  • Save reusable visual presets without storing payload content.
  • Export PNG, SVG, or an A4 print-ready PDF.

Processing and privacy

Browser processing: Payload formatting, logo handling, presets, QR rendering, safety checks, and all exports run locally in the browser.

Limitations to know

  • Logos, dense content, transparent backgrounds, and low-contrast colors can reduce scan reliability.
  • The payload is visibly encoded; do not use a QR code as secure storage.
  • Static destination codes cannot be edited after export and remain useful only while their destinations do.

Keep original files where applicable, inspect the result, and do not rely on an automated output without checking that it fits your intended use.

Examples

Create and verify a URL code

Input: Choose URL, enter https://example.com/docs?ref=guide, keep a quiet zone of 4, choose 600 px, and export PNG.

Output: The encoded payload is exactly https://example.com/docs?ref=guide. That payload is covered by a deterministic helper test; scanner compatibility is not. Scan the downloaded PNG with at least two phones before printing.

Resolve a blocked export

Input: Enter example.com without a scheme, or choose a low-contrast design.

Output: The tool reports the complete-URL or scan-safety problem and disables export for errors. Add https:// and restore strong foreground/background contrast; shorten content if rendering still fails.

Practical tips

  • Keep logos near 20% of the code, use a four-block quiet zone, and always test the final printed size on multiple phones.

Frequently asked questions

Do these QR codes expire?

The generated code is static and continues to contain the same data. A URL code only remains useful while its destination is available.
