Common uses

  • Estimate annual and monthly take-home pay from employment income.
  • Compare supported filing statuses, India's old and new regimes, or representative regional choices.
  • See which national, regional, and social components the simplified model includes.

Processing and privacy

Browser processing: Income, household, deduction, jurisdiction, tax, and take-home calculations remain in the browser and are not submitted or saved by this calculator.

Limitations to know

  • This is not a tax return, withholding calculation, or professional tax advice. Do not use it for filing.
  • The frozen Italy model is known to be outdated: it still uses a 35% rate for the €28,001–€50,000 bracket, while Agenzia delle Entrate says the 2026 Budget Law reduced that bracket to 33% and added a high-income neutralization rule.
  • Capital gains, business income, treaties, expatriate rules, wealth/property taxes, and many credits or deductions are omitted.
  • Some subnational and social components are representative approximations; always check the displayed rule year and official sources.

Keep original files where applicable, inspect the result, and do not rely on an automated output without checking that it fits your intended use.

Practical tips

  • Tax residency, income type, local rules, credits, and payroll treatment can change the outcome. Verify consequential decisions with current official guidance or a qualified adviser.
